World Bee Day

To mark World Bee Day, we’d like to put our thousands of tiny colleagues in the spotlight.

At LDL, we believe that sustainability starts with small, tangible initiatives. That’s why we’ve literally given nature a place on our site: with our own beehive, we’re actively contributing to biodiversity and a healthier living environment.

Collaboration with a local beekeeper

Our beehive is tended by a passionate beekeeper, who cares for the bee colony and processes the honey. In a natural and respectful way, this results in delicious local honey being produced right here.

For LDL, this is more than a symbolic project. It is a concrete commitment to making sustainability visible and tangible for our employees, visitors, and the community around us.

Small actions, big difference

With this initiative, we want to show that even small actions can have a positive impact on nature and the environment. A flower meadow, a beehive, or extra attention to biodiversity: these are small steps that together contribute to a more sustainable future.

On World Bee Day, we therefore not only reflect on the importance of bees, but also on our shared responsibility to care for nature.

🐝 Because caring for bees helps ensure a better tomorrow.
